Distance Learning @ WCC
Welcome to Distance Learning at Wytheville Community College! We think you will enjoy the independent style of learning offered through Distance Learning. These courses provide the same content and quality as traditional courses taught on campus; however, they provide a flexible alternative to the rigid time schedules of traditional classes. We hope you find the courses you’re taking both interesting and rewarding.
Here you can find information on Distance Learning Programs at WCC and how to log in to and use Blackboard.

Freshman Advancing Skills in Technology (FAST) Technology Readiness Assessment
For the benefit of students who may be struggling with the use of technology such as computers and software in their classes, Wytheville Community College provides access to the FAST program via the following links. The intent of FAST is to encourage students to complete the assessment test in order to discover areas where they may have weaknesses and then to view some or all of the online tutorials (the second link) in order to familiarize themselves with the areas of technology where they need improvement. This is not required for entrance into any course at WCC, but is designed to help students improve their technology skills for classroom success.
