Organizational Philosophy
The WCC Child Development Center will strive to be both a quality setting for the care and development of young children and an eductional training site for child care professionals. As a laboratory setting we will provide these services within the operational framework of the Virginia Community College System operating hours and with highly qualified staff.
Goals

We shall provide quality care and development activities to children ages 2 months through 12 years enrolled in our program while making reasonable efforts to accommodate the hours needed by parents as they work or study.

We shall provide programming and activities to promote family development and involvement.

We shall offer services to all eligible families regardless of race, color, sex, religion, age, creed, disability, or national origin.

We shall work to provide a lab site where Early Childhood Development students can have work experience and observation opportunities.
