Paying for College
Attending college and getting a good education costs money. That's a fact. Whether you want a certificate so you can get a good job right away, or a two-year degree so you can transfer to a four-year college or university to complete your bachelor's degree, you'll need money for tuition, fees, and books. The really important questions are: Why should you pay more than you have to for an excellent education? And why should you have to go far from home to get it?
If you are thinking about attending a four-year college for your first two years, be prepared. It's going to be expensive. But, by attending WCC and living at home for the first two years of college, you can save a substantial amount of money. We say it all the time: You'll save enough money during your first two years at WCC practically to pay for your junior and senior years at a four-year college or university. It's true, WCC's tuition and fees are that affordable.
You may not realize it, but in WCC you've chosen a local community college that has been named one of the top two-year colleges in the nation and the 12th most-affordable two-year college in the United States. Why? Because WCC provides an excellent education to its students and we go above and beyond the call of duty to help our students find ways to pay for their college education. It's as simple as that.

Remember: Your first step in applying for financial aid, once you've completed your WCC application, is to complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Please see in the instructions for completing the FAFSA online via the Financial Aid link above.
