A bookmarklet is a tiny piece of javascript code that can be placed in your Favorites, Bookmarks or Links in your Internet browser. On my Tips and Tricks page, there are a number of bookmarklets and one of the most common questions is how to use them.

1. Drag the bookmarklet to your Links menu OR to your Favorites menu, or to your Bookmarks menu.

2. When you're at the relevant page, click the bookmarklet and it will do its magic.
